CBD Softgels 30%

This is the rung for people who have stopped experimenting with strengths. The amount is fixed at the point of manufacture. Nothing changes from one softgel to the next, and the hemp taste stays inside the shell. That is handy if you are often away from home and want your routine to stay the same wherever you are.

When another form fits better

The shell is gelatine (bovine) and glycerine, so these softgels are not vegan and not vegetarian. A swallowed softgel goes through the digestion, and oil under the tongue does not; if you want that route with a fixed amount, bite the softgel open under the tongue, which costs you the tasteless part and keeps the rest. This is the fifth of six rungs; the 20% below it holds about 33 mg per softgel and the 40% above it about 67 mg, so pick the one whose fixed amount matches yours. The fixed amount is the point of this form and also its limit, because you cannot adjust it drop by drop, so anyone still working out their amount gets there more finely with a form that measures per drop; stronger is not automatically better, and the useful strength is the one that makes your amount easy to take.

What is in the softgel

Inside each softgel sits the same fill as our CBD Oil 30%, which is full spectrum 2.0 in MCT oil. Above 20% the base changes from hemp seed oil to MCT, because the heavier extract load needs a different carrier. Every prominent cannabinoid is raised and measured, so CBN, CBG, CBC and CBDa are declared rather than left to chance, at over 20 times an ordinary full spectrum oil.

The shell is gelatine (bovine) and glycerine. The formula was developed in Switzerland in 2021 and has not changed since, made from EU hemp under ISO 22000 and GMP. We have worked with cannabinoids since 2014.

How to take it

One softgel twice a day, with water, at fixed times you keep to. That comes to 100 mg CBD a day, and a jar lasts 30 days.

Our advice here sits higher than the advice for the oil at the same strength, because a swallowed softgel takes a different route through the body than oil under the tongue. If you want more, the step is the next strength up rather than a third softgel, since the amount per softgel is set at manufacture. How long a jar lasts

At the advice above, a jar covers 30 days, so at this strength a jar is a month. Finding your own amount takes three weeks or more, which is why three jars makes sense: the third carries you past that stage. The supply planner works out how long your jars last.

The 20% comes to the same 100 mg CBD a day at a higher cost per day, and this jar lasts half as long again, 30 days against 20.
