Who we are
Cibdol is a cannabidiol brand focused on transparent, full-spectrum CBD products. Our oils are made to Swiss quality standards from EU-grown hemp, with every batch checked in-house and by an independent laboratory.
We are registered in the Netherlands as Cibdol bv. “Swiss” describes how we make CBD - not a claim that the legal entity is Swiss.
Our story
Cibdol started in 2014 in Switzerland, at Oristalstrasse 68 in Liestal, just outside Basel: among the very first CBD brands with a real Swiss production facility behind it. That is where our first CBD oils were developed and produced, and where the Swiss production standards our products are still made to were set.
As the brand grew across Europe, everything was gradually brought together under one roof in the Netherlands. Since the merger into our Dutch company, all of Cibdol, production, testing, logistics and support, runs from here; the Swiss site closed in 2025.
The standards travelled with us. Every batch is still produced and verified to the same quality system the brand was built on in Liestal: for the millions of customers Cibdol has served around the world since 2014.
Measured, not guessed
CBD Oil 2.0 raises complementary cannabinoids (CBG, CBC, CBN, CBDa) alongside a fixed CBD content - so each bottle has a profile you can read on the certificate of analysis.

Independent lab reports cover cannabinoid content and purity. We publish what we measure; we do not invent ratings or reviews.

Product quality & laboratory testing
- Batch testing and certificates of analysis
- Every batch is released with its own certificate of analysis. The certificates published in our batch lookup are issued by CureSupport Nederland B.V., which manufactures the products, and cover cannabinoid content and THC residue by UHPLC-DAD, heavy metals against Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/915, and microbiology against named ISO methods.
- Contaminant & heavy metal screening
- Each batch certificate reports heavy metals against the limits in Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/915, a THC residue figure, and microbiological results in colony forming units per gram.
Regulatory status
- UK novel food application
- In the United Kingdom, CBD extracts are regulated as novel foods. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) keeps a public register of CBD products linked to novel food applications; products linked to a validated application may remain on sale in England and Wales while the FSA completes its safety assessment. Twelve Cibdol products, our CBD oils and softgel capsules as submitted, are on that register with the status Validated, under application RP-176. A listing is not an authorisation and the FSA does not endorse any CBD food product; it records that the application has passed validation and is progressing through the assessment.
